Kiki Erspamer

Kiki grew up in Berlin, Germany and moved to the United States in her early twenties. She has completed her Yoga training in the Himalayan tradition with Yoga North in Duluth. She currently teaches classes in Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and Meditation.

Kiki deepens her love and knowledge by regularly attending workshops, including recently, ‘Thai Bodywork’, ‘Radiant Eating as taught by Mark Powell’, ‘How to Reduce Your Pain with Therapeutic Yoga' as taught by Susi Hately Aldous, 'Ease in Postures', 'Understanding the Breath' and 'Body Balancing'. Kiki has also studied Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin, at Dhamma Pakasa in Pecatonica, IL.

She finds great value in dedicated yoga practice and meditation and hopes to invite a sense of calm and ease into our bodies, to 'go inside', to help racing thoughts stand still and, ultimately, feel at peace. Kiki feels that Yoga, too often, is made to look like the images in a yoga magazines and hopes to relay that it is not only about the practice of physical postures, but about uniting our mind, body and spirit. Her outside interests include parenting, traveling, music, reading, dancing, nature, friends and family.
