L. Salima Rael Swenson
Salima draws on her 30 years experience of studying and sharing the
mysticism of love, light, life, and peace from the world's religious
and spiritual traditions. She is a student and teacher in the Sufi
Order International, a certified leader of the Dances of Universal
Peace, an ordained conductor of the healing service of the Sufi
Healing Order, an ordained reverend in the Universal Worship Service,
and a student practitioner in the Raphaelite Work, a healing
practice. She has worked in the human services field as an
occupational therapist and hospice chaplain.
Her love of dance has led her to live on both coasts, and NYC to study with certain beloved teachers. In the process, she has put together a large, wonderful and eccentric collection of music. Salima holds the office of acting president on the board of the Arrowhead Interfaith Council, a community effort toward interfaith dialogue and learning, peace and justice, service and stewardship.
